Excel/PowerPoint
This course is designed to give students the opportunity to learn computer skills that are in great demand for personal, school, and workplace use. Microsoft Office Excel 2003 and PowerPoint 2003 are the programs that will be used. Instruction will be given not only in the specific technology of using Excel but also in how to interpret spreadsheet results obtained. Instruction will be given not only in the specific technology of using PowerPoint but also in concepts of good design and layout. Computer skills learned in this class can be used in part-time or full-time jobs, used at home, or used as tools in courses in high school and in college.
