I. SE HABLA ESPAŇOL (Spanish usage policy)

Spanish will be spoken both inside and outside the classroom.

II. MATERIALES REQUISITAS (Required Materials)

1. Un Libro de Español -Spanish Book

2. Una Carpeta de 3 Argollas, y papel-3 Ring Binder and paper

3. Un Bolígrafo o un Lápiz-Pen or Pencil

4. Un Diccionario de Español- A Spanish English Dictionary

5. Una Buena Actitud- A Good Attitude

III. POLĺTICA DE LAS MARCAS (Grading Policy)

1. Exámenes (Exams) ------------------------------20%

2. Pruebas (Quizes)--------------------------------20%

3. Proyectos (Projects) ----------------------------20%

4. Participación (Participation) -------------------- 20%

5. Tarea (Homework) -----------------------------20%

IV. EL TRABAJO DIARIO (Daily Work)

1. El desafío diario- Daily Challenge

This will be written on the board as you enter the classroom. It is to be done every day
as soon as you enter the room.

2. La tarea- homework

Will be assigned EVERY night

Will be checked EVERY day as the desafío diario is being completed.

If it is not done, there will be no makeup (unless you were absent)

3. All class work counts toward your grade including worksheets, individual participation,
and group work.

V. POLĺTICA DE AUSENCIAS (Absence Policy)

1. Students have ONE WEEK to make up any missing homework, quizzes, or class work.

2. Tests and Quizzes must be made up before or after school, not during class.

3. If a student is absent for more than 5 days, please contact me for alternative arrangements.

VI. TRABAJO QUE SE ENTREGA TARDE (Late Work)

1. 10 points will be deducted for each day that a project is turned in late

2. No credit will be given if a homework assignment is not completed. There will be no makeup.

VII. NO SEA TRAMPOSO (No Cheating)

Cheating will not be tolerated. Use of a computer translation program is unacceptable and is
considered cheating. This is a district wide policy in the Foreign Language Department.
If cheating occurs, the student/ students in question will receive a zero on the assignment.

VIII. AYUDA EXTRA (Extra Help)

Wednesdays will always be available for extra help; however I am available most days after school.
